boring book

As I read this book, I honestly cannot stand how it is written. While it is creative to read a book written like a script, I feel blind. I can hear everything in the book, but I see nothing, which drives me nuts...

^ George P. did that

anyways, I think the book is cool!

I've only read up to page 22, so I haven't a clue as to what to think about the main character. So far, I believe that he is taking court as a joke as he writes in his notebook to make a movie that most-likely is not going to be made. Yet I do see his position making sense, because this experience is probably a very scary one (I would think). So I see the main character as a regular teenager, possibly a bit creative at mind.

i think this king fellow should be gulity and steve be innocent for steve just a look out man come on peace juggalos

I do not like the format that the book has been written in. But I do like the story line of the book and I also like the way the writer made the book more realistic and based on real life situations instead of making everything up.

the book is pretty good I like the whole screenplay writing style. personally I think he's innocent but you never know, i havn't seen any of the evidence yet

ive made it to about page 50 so far and i really like the format of how the book is written and the main character so far seems like a regular teenager for the most part,he also seems pretty creative if hes writing this movie even though thats kind of weird.but i dont know he might be guilty, cant tell yet

I feel that not both men should be charged with the same crime. If they are doing a death penalty crime. They
need more proof, before they have a verdict. It only takes one man to fire a gun, there was only one gun so, only one man should have done it. D.N.A. testing is also necessary for the judgment. The second should receive the charge of aggravated murder, and robbery.

He was an accomplice to murder

This book is off the heezy, but why does it have to be a black dude? I mean other races do bad things, too! But other than that the book is good.

From what I've read so far, this book is a waste of time in my opinion. Call me ignorant, I don't care. This book is a fictional reality; okay. This school and everyone has had enough of depression and stories about bad things happening. This main character is so negative. Why make teens read negative literature? Because there is a message behind it? Bull. Go get us The Secret if you want to change people's lives then start there, but from this. It's a load of waste. Negativity is never good; pick up some positive literature.

I agree with Cody C. but we had a choice in the matter of what book we wanted to read. If people went to the Center for Learning (CFL) we could have picked a different book. But nobody likes to vote so Monster was picked. So like some people say DEAL

Theres nothing i like more than having negative things force fed down my throat... This book is one of the WORST books iv ever laid eyes on. Funny all my time here and I never heard them say to vote in the CFL. I had to force myself to read it. Especially in this bad Ghetto school, i don't want to read negative BS. I want to take my mind off of this place.

TERRIBAD BOOK IS TERRIBAD!

You would think that in the negative environment here at Timken that we would exercise the thought of a peaceful place instead of reading more negative things about people stealing and other stupid things when are we gonna get a book that promotes peace instead of random acts of violence that just completely throws off the idea of a peaceful school.

ive finished the book and overall i think that its a pretty mediocre/bad/boring book, it literally took me about an hour or so to read and when its over the book just seems empty like hes in jail he goes to court for a few days and the book is over.I give this book 2thumbs down! >:(

This book is great..
I enjoy the read..

I didn't like how the book was written. I really could've liked it if the book wasn't written like a play. Everything was just mediocre. Most parts just put you into a snore so bad that you just don't want to finish it.

To me the book is overwelming because thats sumbody around the same age as me facing something like that and i couldnt amagin how he felt. And i like how it was wrote because it made it seem as if i was there or as i was watching the movie.

i think the book is good for people to understand things about their lives and how choices can choose your life, but altogether the book is good but, I liked Tears Of A Tiger better because it had more action. Monster is also a good book to.

I thought Monster was an good book. I was however disappionted with the ending.I beleave he should have been convicted.
